** Socket 370 to Tualatin CPU Adapter **With this adapter, your customers can now use new Intel Pentium III and Celeron processors with Tualatin cores in their Socket 370 motherboards that do not have native support for these processors. This is packaged in a retail box.General Features: - Adapts Socket 370 motherboards made for FC-PGA processors for use with FC-PGA2 (Tualatin) processors- Also adapts Socket 370 motherboards made for PPGA processors for use with FC-PGA (Coppermine) processors- Adds approximately 3/8 inch to the height of the processor/cooler combination Retail Package Includes: - Socket 370 Adapter with three jumpers - Instructions printed on back of boxNotes:- The box and instructions have some grammatical and spelling errors, but this device worked well in our in-house tests. We tested it with a Biostar M6VCF motherboard using both a Celeron 1200 and a Pentium III 1133 (both Tualatin processors). In the case of the Celeron 1200, the BIOS of the M6VCF saw it as a Pentium III 305, but Sandra 2002 saw it as a Celeron 1200, and it ran without problems. - This adapter will not increase the available Front Side Bus (FSB) speed of the motherboard.
