Sam Wilson's CV:
J.A. Sam Wilson has a diploma from Capital Radio Engineering Institute, a Bachelor's Degree from Long Beach State College in California and a Master's Degree from Kent State University in Ohio. He also has three diplomas from correspondence schools.
He has 20 years experience as an instructor and professor. He has taught at Kent State University, Colorado State University and several proprietary schools. In 1984 he was selected as Technician of the Year by the International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians.
Sam Wilson was the director of Technical Publications for NESDA (National Electronics Service Dealer Association) for five years and was a CET Test Consultant for ISCET (International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians) for eight years.
In 1986 he was on a lecture tour taking the subjects of microprocessors and computers to technicians who had an expertise in other fields of electronics.
The lectures were given in Texas, Kansas, Oregon, Washington and Louisiana.
Wilson holds a patent on a portable transcutaneous electrical neural stimulation (TENS) unit and a disclosure letter at the patent office on a laser acupuncture unit. He is presently a full-time free lance technical writer and consultant.
Sam has a Radio Amateur General License (WA8RMS), a lifetime First Class Commercial FCC License with a Radar Endorsement and a Journeyman Certified Electronics Technician (CET) rating in Consumer Electronics.
